Hello world!
How was the Fourth of July weekend? I hope that it went down smoothly for you as it was for me. First and foremost, the house warming party. It was a success (considering the size of my apartment), as Amy, Genevieve, Hiroko, and my girl Niya all showed up for the party. We all watched movies, ate some food, and had a great time. Genevieve and Amy gave me something for the apartment as well, so that is all good for me right there. Genevieve gave me a couple of postcards and a keychain plus Amy gave me a plant, so I have to send them a thank you e-mail as soon as I am done with this post. I might make the house warming party an annual event, so that people can meet others from my walks of life.
As for other news, things are going pretty good for me for the most part. I am really tired but hey, it's all worth it. I was at the Taste of Chicago this weekend as well as Chinatown, both in Chicago, and I had me a lot of fun, as I was letting go the whole time. I was this close to buying an issue of Playgirl magazine but I didn't, and I will NOT buy the new Missy Elliot album until next month so that I can catch up with my finances. I just hope and pray that I have enough money for all that I want to do in the future. I might go to Williamsburg in November of this year, but if not, I can wait until next year. I have to get going now so that I can get to other things in my life. I will report again on Thursday. Laterz and peace!
