It's been a long time...

Hey hey readers!

I know, I know, it's been a long time since I last wrote to you, but hey, I've been really busy these days, with my X-Mas shopping and whatnot. I passed my classes at Oakton and I am taking two more to be a sophomore in college. I am getting a B in both classes and that is good. Right now, I just got done with some ME shopping and whatnot, and it's all good. Well, I have to get going now so that I won't miss my bus. I will try to write again later on this week. Laterz and peace!

Finals time!

Hey there readers!

It's that time of the semester again! I am in school for the final day of the semester and that is not good! The good part of this is that I have A TWO HOUR FINAL in Quantitative Literacy. As I said before, I am done with my X-Mas shopping and that is good. I saw Erin earlier this morning so that is out of the way. I'll be sure that I pass the final. I hate to keep this one so short but I have to go now. I will try to write again tomorrow. Laterz and peace!

Yay for me once again!

Hey readers!

I hope that everyone is having a good day and I also hope everyone had a better weekend this past weekend than me, as I had a shitty weekend. I can't go into detail as to how that came to be but if you talk to Miss Erin or her boss Randy, you'll see why. But other than that, I am doing okay because I did indeed finish ALL of my Christmas shopping and I am soooooooooooooooooooooooo proud of myself for doing that. I am only worried about the bus routes that affect Oakton CC. Since I have a way to get to work and back, I am only concerned that I won't have a way to get to school and back next semester. That will be all for today. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Thursday. Laterz and peace!

I'm pissed, damn it!

Hey hey readers...

I hope that all that read this is having a good day because I'm not. Don't ask me why, I will be very pissed off if I am asked that question. Then again, I think it was Miss Erin's car that I saw last night as I got home from work. Not sure there (or if there'll be a cut of three pace routes that I have used in the past (two of which I still use today), as I'll be THAT pissed off if the cuts go through), but I'll ask her anyway if she was there that late last night. I have to get going now so that I can get to my studies. I will try to write again tomorrow if not sometime next week. Laterz and peace!

Updates for the Tuesday before Thanksgiving...

Hey hey readers!

I am hoping that all that read this entry are having a good day as I am having one too! I'm going to a Buddhist meeting on Sunday, after Thanksgiving, and I'll catch up with my friend Lenore. I only see her like once a month but that is good, it's always good when I see her. But other than that, I have a test and a quiz in my Humanities and Quantitative Literacy classes respectively today... boo! I am soooooooooo tired today as I got up at 6:30 in the morning just to get meds, damn it! I wish it was 7:30 in the morning... Well, I have to get going now so that I can pass my test. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Friday or Sunday. Laterz and peace!

A few updates for your ear...

Hey hey readers!

I am hoping that everyone is having a good day although I am tired as hell... Anyhoo, I found out that Ol' Dirty Bastard has died from a collapse, which is sad cos I like Wu Tang Clan. Another update is that I may have to skip classes on the 14th of next month, but for good reason. The final update that I want to bring to your attention is that I will take the Supervisor's Test sometime in June of next year. Hate to do this to you, but I have to get going now so that I can pay attention to my math class. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Sunday or Monday. Laterz and peace!

Updates before I leave to go home (I'm at the library)

Hey hey readers!

I hope that all that read this are having good days going for them as I am having a good day too if you can catch my drift. I was involved in Dance and Movement and that was all good as I learned more hip hop stuff. Got my Vanilla Coke and Sinckers Almond from M.J. and NO SARA, damn it! But other than that, I have a test to study for in my Humanities class, which is next Tuesday, and another test in Quantitative Literacy course on the second of December. The only things I have to worry about is the finals, which are a good part of my final grade. I have one last test in Humanities on the ninth of December but I might cut class on the 14th of December so that I can go Christmas shopping for the rest of my list. But you never know what might happen then. I'll wait and see what happens on the ninth of December.

The only down point since I last wrote to you was when Abe and I had a disagreement over me deciding my fate at my job. Abe said that I should quit my job and go for SSDI and I said no, because that extra $200 I make at my job can be a big difference in terms of paying for school and getting out of debt. I would also lose all of my benefits that my job provides me if I were to quit right now. The only thing he had going for his case was that my health is the most important thing in my life. I brought this up to Miss Erin and she was on my side, saying that I shouldn't be relying on the government to get me through things, and that I should be more independent in terms of how I get money in my pocket. Besides, Social Security won't be around forever, and I certainly won't get it by the time I decide to retire from the working force.

Well, you guys know what time this is. I have to get going now so that I can get home in time to see Eugene on the bus tonight and whatnot. I will write again tomorrow. Laterz and peace!

I am in high hopes that you know that I am tired when I was doing this entry...

Hey hey readers!

How's it going today for my loyal readers? I hope that all is well with you although I'm tired as hell. Got up without the alarm clock but I know that I have homework to do, hee hee hee, but I've been done with my homework and now I can focus on this entry. There is this guy that I'm friends with, Eugene, that I'm starting to like as more than a friend as he' s really sweet, but he annoys the shit out of my co-workers and that can be really annoying. He was asking for me last night on the bus but I decided to take the earlier bus to work as I take no chances on being on time to work. And how do I know this, you ask? A few of my co-workers were telling me that he was asking for me. Oh well, that's life there for you. But other than that, everything is good for the most part and all of my assignments are done and will be turned in on time today, hee hee hee! :) Well, I have to get g0ing now so that I can write my e-mail to my list. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Thursday. Laterz and peace!

Yay for me! :)

Hey readers!

I am in high hopes that everyone is having a good day, as I'm having one too! :) Yay for me as I just got done with my bill fo sale for Ray and myself. Also, I went shopping for myself to get the stuff I want on Saturday and that included the stuff I wanted! :) That included the video game that Iwas after, some three CDs, and a holder for the CDs. I also bought myself a portable CD Player by Sony, which is really cool looking and sounding. With the last of the money that I had from the shopping trip, I bought myself more contact lens solution and lithium batteries for the portable CD Player by Energizer. Saw Miss Erin this morning and waved hi to her after she saw me waiting for the bus before waving hi to me and all that good stuff. Speaking of Miss Erin, I have to talk to her about a lot of stuff today. Well, I have to get going now so that I can get home to complete the transaction. I will write again tomorrow with more updates. Laterz and peace!

More party info and more updates as always!

Hello readers!

I am in high hopes that all that read this are having a good day as I am too! :) I am getting ideas down for my 23rd birthday bash on January 22nd in 2005, as I had a good time this year on my golden birthday (I am 22), but I want something better if you can catch my drift. I am making out my list as to who to invite and ideas as to where to get the food from. NO ERIN yesterday but I am hoping that I can catch her today so that I can talk to her about stuff, like getting spending money sooner next week, getting some me money, and getting the TV/VCR combo and DVD player from Ray for $50.

I might as well get my own portable CD player for like $50 or so... but I'll wait until D.C. gets himself a new one with a radio with it. But other than that, I have no school tomorrow, but I'm still staying home that day because I have homework to do and shit like that. I am going to get the 19th of this month off so that I can go to my concert with Abe, but as you already know, we're only friends. I might be starting to develop feelings for Jair, a co-worker at my job, but that is uncertain that I want him that way. Oh well, that's life choices there for ya. I just want to maintain a friendship with him, that's all.

All of that aside, I am doing good, just that I am not going to look at my last math test, because I think I did that bad on it. I should do better on the last math test in the beginning of December (as in December 2), so that I can be better ready for the final on either the 9th of December or the 14th of December. I saw my girls M.J. and Sara plus Beth so it's all good for me to say the very least. Well, peoples, you lot know what time this is now. I have to get going now so that I can get home to do stuff. I will try to write again on Sunday if not Monday. Laterz and peace!

Party time!

Hey hey readers!

I hope that all is doing well as I am doing good too! I am having a birthday party thrown for me on my birthday, which is in about 2.5 months from now and that is a good thing. It's in the beginning stages of planning and that is all good! But other than that, I am in my math class and and I am about to find out how I fared on my test. Work was a drag last night, but as long as I have my friends, I am okay. Well, I have to get going now so that I can focus on my test and whatnot. I will try to write again tomorrow if not next Sunday. Laterz and peace!

Yet another short entry

Hey there readers!

I am hoping that all are having fabulous days although I am not having a good day so far. I wish I can go into detail but I am not so that is that. But on a good note, I am done with the dirty work on my written assignment and I am ready to turn in my research paper. I have to keep this entry short because I am short on time. I have to get going now so that I can make it to class on time. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Sunday. Laterz and peace!

Hey hey readers!

I am hoping that all is going well with you lot as it is for me. First of all, I am DONE with my research paper, and I am soooooooooooo happy! I just have to finish my math homework, start working on my written assignment for Humanities, and prepare myself for the remaining tests in math and that should be that for me for the semester. No Miss Erin for me today, yay for me! Another thing for me is that I VOTED in the election, and I am proud of myself for that too, hee hee hee! :) As for anything else, I am almost done with my X-Mas list, I just have to redo some price figuring and shit like that. Also, I didn't see Miss Erin yesterday which makes my luck all the better. Well, you know what time this is. I have to get going now so that I can prepare myself better for class. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Thursday. Laterz and peace!

Hey hey readers!

I am in high hopes that all is doing well today although it isn't quite the same here in Illinois. Tomorrow is Election Day and I am soooooooooooooo voting! :) I want Bush's fucking ass out of office. I went to my Buddhist meeting yesterday morning and it was all good. Bears won yesterday... BIG WHOOP! I am going to have to keep this one short as I still have to do my research paper. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Wednesday or Thursday. Laterz and peace!

Hey readers!

I hope that all is having a fab Halloween as I am having one too! Let's just say that Abe loved his birthday presents from me and his other friends. The party was more fun that I originally thought it would be. NO MISS ERIN until Tuesday and she just may "kill" me when I show her my Christmas list for this year, but you never know what she might do to me. I am going to keep this one short as I have to get to my research paper. I will try to write again tomorrow. Laterz and peace!

The party, work, and everything else in between

Hey there readers!

I hope that all is going well with you lot as it is for me. As I am totally single right now, I am happy with that. I don't need a man to keep me happy, hee hee hee! You want to know what happened to me this morning? Well, I wasn't well aware that Miss Erin was going to stay overnight to sub for Karl (Cindy from my day program subbed for Karl too but she only stayed until nine at night), but it was her because of this morning when she woke me up for medication at like around 7:15 a.m. Damn girl, can you do that a little later, like 7:45 a.m.?!? Geez, I need some beauty sleep, damn it! Karl is out of town until either Monday or Tuesday night. As for Abe's birthday party, I am not sure if I am going to make it because of errands that I have to do during the day. The good thing that will come out for today is that I will be getting paid good money as I worked my fucking ass off all the damn time. I'm only going to loathe work right after peak season because there will be no work for me to really do. Well, you guys know what time this is. I have to get going now so that I can focus on other things. I will try to write again this weekend if not Monday. Laterz and peace!

Abe and I are only going to be friends... and more updates as usual

Yo readers!

I hope that all is going well with you even though it's not the same for me. Abe and I are only going to be friends because it seems like the guy doesn't know who he wants as his girlfriend. He likes me, Laura Phillips, and it seems like he likes this other girl Shabnam, all at the same time, and to make matters worse, we all like him too! What a moron he is for gettting himself into that situation, he thinks that he's got it made by liking three girls and not being sure who he wants to date but I don't think so. So I'm gonna let him go as a possible boyfriend and move on to someone else who likes me and only me and not two or three other girls. If he tries some fast shit on me, at least I know what to do in terms of who to call. I know what I want in terms of having a boyfriend, but I haven't found it yet and I don't think I ever will.

But other than that, I am doing good, I am working on my research paper and my other written assignment for Humanities and my math homework is complete (that is, the last of the Chapter 11 homework). Oh yeah, the BOSTON RED SOX WON THE WORLD SERIES! And they swept those damn Cardinals too (I hate them with a deadly passion) to make it better. As for Miss Erin, I talked to her about the Christmas shopping yesterday and she told me to work on a budget and give it to her next month before I start the shopping spree. And she made me realize that I shouldn't be spending so much on one person. But oh well, life choices that I make now will affect my future, that is for sure. I have to get going now so that I can continue to work on my research paper. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Sunday after the District Meeting at the Murphys' house. Laterz and peace!

No Erin today... and more updates!

Hey readers!

I am sooooooooooooooooooo happy today as I probably won't see Erin until tomorrow (but I still have to talk to her anyway about Christmas shopping money), hee hee hee! :) But other than that, my beloved Red Sox are up two games to none in the World Series. Abe has no clue as to the tickets that I got for the Austrailian Pink Floyd Show on the 19th of November. I told a couple of people about Abe's birthday present, but that's about it. Sorry for this being short but I have to go now so that I can get to my research paper. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Thursday. Laterz and peace!

"I'm a survivor, I'm gonna make it..." ("Survivor," as sung by Destiny's Child)

Hey hey readers!

Well, today is one of those days where madness is stirring up and you can't deny a damn thing, so go figure! Jennifer was e-mailing me like mad these past two days as she wanted to know about Abe and the concert that we're going to on Nov. 19. She didn't want me to pay up for the tickets myself but she can't prevent me from showing appreciation for my man, ha ha ha. But she said that she was concerned that Abe was taking advantage of me and Abe and I know it is really not true at all, friends do things for one another. But other than that, NO MISS ERIN TODAY and I am soooooooooooo very happy today! Maybe if I get my way, I won't see her until Wednesday if I can get away with it. As much as I have respect for her, I still think she... well... you know what I am going to say here. I survived my Humanities test and my Math quiz, and I am going to make it through those classes! Well, you lot know what time this is. I have to get going now so that I can get to the Ticketmaster outlet in Edens Plaza. I will try to write again on Sunday if not Monday or Tuesday. Hey hey readers!

I hope that you lot have embraced yourselves for this, as my Red Sox won Game 7 and the ALCS! I know, I know... I should be a true Cubbie fan as I am a Chicago North Sider, but hey, the Cubs are not in the playoffs and that is that. So the Minnesota Twins have been avenged. But other than that, I have a test in Humanities that I have to study for as well as a quiz for Quantitative Literacy, all today! Go fucking fugure, because I'm not looking forward to it. And my job is a fucking drag because although I just got back working this week, I'm already hating it... damn it! Well, I have to get going now so that I can pass my test and quiz. I was THIS close to losing my temper... and more updates, as always...

Yo readers!

How is everyone doing today? I am not not doing good at all. First, Miss Erin and her partner in crime Gregg talked me out of seeing my "boyfriend" Abe yesterday, and I'm still pissed off at them for doing so. They had their reasons and I was trying to tell them why I wanted to see him but never got the chance to do so as they were telling me all the stuff that Abe was going through and shit like that. They (and Abe) suggested that I should write him a long letter, but I know that's not my thing anymore, as I'm in school and the way I write is no longer creative. Besides, it wouldn't feel appropriate for me to write him a long letter (the only person I'd write to like that is my oldest half-sister Laura and I'd wish that she would fucking write to me sometime, I'm sick and tired of her not contacting her family back home, damn it!).

After I started crying (for the reason that I was missing Abe so much that I love him), Erin wanted to talk to me one-on-one. I was like "Oh shit, here we go again!," and she wanted to see what the hell was wrong. Decided not to tell her about my feelings for him and whatnot and the bitch retaliated something like that I shouldn't keep it all inside. Hey, I do whatever works for me. If I want to keep it all inside, then that's my perogative, so don't force it out of me. I was gagging to get out of Erin's office so that I can get to my homework for math (which I did eventually complete) the whole time and when she gave me the okay to get out of there, I just took off... and then she called me again but this time I ignored her, because I was THIS close to losing my temper, plus I was really ready to lash out at her... go figure!

So what did I do after all of this? Called Jennifer, and she came to my rescue like big time (thank you Jen), as she understood about what I feel for Abe, but she also saw their reasoning and we had a good conversation about everything. Jennifer and her husband Mike are the only two people that I can completely trust with everything. That is, outside the program and work. Carl, the guy that was supposed to give me a lift to see Abe, came on time, and I told him everything that Erin and Gregg told me. Even Laura Phillips called me at 9 p.m. last night and could tell that I wasn't smiley and happy. She plans on seeing Abe tonight and whatnot, so good luck to her. Well, I have to get going now so that I can get to my studies and whatnot. I will try to write again on Sunday if not Tuesday. Laterz and peace!

Madness in the last 24 hours

Hey readers...

I hope that all is going well with you lot, as I'm still getting used to Abe (who I consider to be my boyfriend) being in the hospital. I'm going to visit him tonight at 7 p.m. to see how he is doing. He said that he should be out by Sunday, which is good for me to hear in the first place, after all that I've been through. But other than that, I think I flunked my math test that I took yesterday (yes, I forgot how to do nearly all the problems), but oh well, that is life there for you. Saw Erin yesterday, as well as my house manager Karl, and told them what was said between Leslie and I last Friday, and they okayed it. :) Well, you lot know what time this is. I have to get going now so that I can get to my studies and whatnot. I will write again tomorrow. Laterz and peace!

I'm ready to fail my test...and other updates as always

Hey hey readers...

I am hoping that all that read this entry are in good health and spirits because I'm not. Why, do you ask? Well, I have a special guy in my life right now (well, not really, but he won my heart and that's what counts) and he's in the hospital as I speak! I can't say where and to keep things even more "shady" I can't say what the reason is that he's in the hospital. His name is Abe and yes, he's one of my roommates! :) I saw Miss Erin yesterday to get money for clothes and I went to Old Navy to get originally just clothes (but I also got socks there too). But anyway, I have a test today in math that I'm about to fail and there is a discussion in Humanities that I am not ready for. So go figure, damn it! Well, you guys know what time this is now. I have to get going so that I can improve my chances in my classes today. I will try my best to write again tomorrow. Laterz and peace!

Miracles do happen when you BELIEVE!

Hey hey readers!

How is everyone's Thursday going for them? I hope that everyone has a fab day as I am having one of them too! :) First of all, I was ready to cuss out Miss Erin this morning for coming in late to pick me up from the program to school, but she came through like big time on her promise and it was all good, I even got here (I'm at school as I am writing this) early! :) Paid attention to my professor (Mrs. Sprague) in class... and when I was about "fail" my math quiz (when I was going into my math class today), it turns out that the teacher wasn't going to show and cancelled the math class altogether, so that meant I had to go to room 2180 to drop off my homework. Well... you guys know what time this is. I have to run now so that I can get home on time and whatnot. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Sunday. Laterz and peace!

The Twins won... plus more updates!

Hey hey readers...

I am in high hopes that everyone is having a fabulous day today as I am having one too. :) First and foremost, I have my appointment with the doctor (as in Weinstein) tomorrow morning and then (hopefully) have Miss Erin drive me to school afterwards and I do hope that I get there ON TIME tomorrow. And yes, I have some updates to tell you about. Those Twins of mine (as in the Minnesota Twins) and Miss Erin's (she's from that state) did NOT let me down by winning 2-0 in last night's game, hee hee hee. :) And I heard some stuff about Miss Erin that I refuse to state here because she might kick my ass if I do! You lot know what time this is now... I have to get going now so that I can get to my studies. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Friday. Laterz and peace!

The Cubbies are out of their minds... and more updates!

Hello readers...

I hope everyone is having a fab Tuesday as I am TIRED! I had me a good talk with Miss Erin yesterday, for one, my churches for my research paper were okayed by the teacher... which is a good thing; two, and three, as I'm doing okay in my Quantitative Literacy class, I shouldn't be worried about that as much as I would be for my Humanities class. As for my Cubbies, they are out of their minds for screwing up the last week of the season plus Sosa is clearly out of his mind for whatever it is that he said about Baker and his walk out from the team. That being said, I hope that the Minnesota Twins win it all this year, because for one thing... Miss Erin roots for them, two, they have a good pitcher on their team by the name of Johanse Santana, and three, they're better to root for than the St. Louis Cardinals. Well, I have to get going now so that I can get to my studies. Laterz and peace!

An entry to remember

Hey hey readers!

I hope that all is in good health and good spirits as I am today. Well, let's see here... the Cubbies are in (I think) third in the NL Wild Card race as they are a game back of the Astros, my rent's due today, and I should be seeing Miss Erin today to pay up the damn rent in the first place. But other than that, I am doing good, as I saw my girls Sara and M.J. today and got my "breakfast of champions," consisting of a Sinckers Almond Bar, a Vanilla Coke (which I have yet to drink), and some cookies. :) As for school, I am doing okay, nothing spectacular but my architectural structures are okayed by Sprague so that means that I am ready to go on my research paper and that is due on the 4th of November, aka my H.S. buddy Rooski's 23rd birthday, which reminds me that I have to think of an e-card to give her, hee hee hee! Well, due to that, I have to get going now. I will try to write again on Sunday if not Tuesday. Laterz and peace!

Another short entry

Hello readers!

How is everyone's day going for them so far? I wish the Cubbies would be on the winning side, they've lost two in a row damn it, and they're no longer in first place in the NL Wild Card race! :( But in other news, I saw Miss Erin this morning looking very nice from a female's perspective, however, I did NOT talk to her as of yet, but I will, so that should mean something to my loyal readers. I may not get me a real good check for a while but when I do it'll be the bomb! You guys know what time it is. I have to get going now so that I can get to my studies. Finally, a real entry

Hey hey readers!

How is Wednesday going for you lot? I hope that all is going well for you as it may not be for me, as I'm still getting over the 100 I got on my Math quiz but I'm not doing as good in Humanities, but hey, it is something that I can work on. I saw Miss Erin yesterday, only briefly. She was wearing all black and probably for good reason, makes me wanna laugh. As for today, I am in a cheery mood, no major problems in my direction. Saw my main girl M.J. and got my dosage of chocolate and caffeine for the day. But other than all of that, nothing new for yours truly other than the fact that the Cubbies are tied for the Wild Card lead with the San Francisco Giants and with the Houston Astros only a half game out of the lead! Those beloved Cubbies of mine had better get their act together or else! Well, I have to get going now so that I can make it home and get to work on time. I will try to write again tomorrow. Another untitled entry

Hey hey readers!

How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you lot as it is for me. Didn't see Erin this morning, so that should be a good thing for me, as I nearly didn't get out of work in time to catch my bus last night. But other than that, I am doing good, because I got a 92 on my Humanities test when I took it and you know my Quantitative Literacy test score by now. Those exams are not final exams but they give me a great idea as to what I should be studying for, hee hee. As for anything else, I got a BIG paycheck on Friday but I won't get one that big this upcoming Friday. More bonding with Erin on the 7th of October, as the woman will give me a ride to the campus after I see my doctor. Well, I have to get going now so that I can get to my studies. How is everyone's Sunday going for them so far? As for me, the Bears' asses are getting kicked by the Vikings (as far as I know) and the Cubbies are losing 3-2 to the damn Mets in the 8th inning. DAMN IT! But anyhoo, there's hardly anything in the house to eat and drink (the milk and the juice go by QUICKLY in the house, I only wish it would last longer... boo hoo moment if you ask me. But other than that, I got me a NEW Claddagh ring to replace the one I lost, and I was debating whether or not to buy the used copy of "Kill Bill Volume 2" before I decided to buy the 30-Day Reduced Fare Bus Pass (CTA/Pace combo). With the change I had I went out to Mickey D's (that's McDonald's to you!) and got me a McFlurry for dinner. Okay, I had me dinner there instead of home cooking, but hey, I had me a craving for something sweet.

As for other updates, I got that award from the annual meeting that I skipped from Miss ERIN on Friday and she asked me for the exact reason why I decided to jump ship. I told her that it was for a personal reason, and that I will tell her that I will say what it was that kept me from the meeting when I feel the time is right, BUT I didn't say it right then and there. She asked me if I was okay, and I was okay, so Erin didn't force me to say it. My paycheck on Friday was the bomb so that means that I can get me some extra money tomorrow from Miss Erin (well, that is what I call her on these entries). And I do hope that she will give me the money (razorheads, some soap, and lunch money) because if she doesn't give me the money that I need, then I will have me a fit.

Well, you guys know what time this is. I have to get going now. I will try to write again on Tuesday. Laterz and peace!

Untitled because I can't think of anything right now

Hey hey readers!

How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you lot as it is for me... well, not really, but hey there are better days and there are worser days. Let's just say that I was late to work last night yet my supervisors were all cool about it as they know that I come in every day that I can come in. Just so you know I will be taking time off in October to do my research paper for Humanities (it's 10-15 pages long and 250 words per page), but I'll be back in November with a fierceness and with more entries. :) I have to get going now so that I can get home to face Erin's wrath. I will try to write again on Sunday. Laterz and peace!

Erin and Randy are probably pissed... and more updates!

Hey readers!

How was last night for everyone? I hope that all went well with you lot as it did for me. I was at work last night when I was supposed to be at the damn annual meeting (had a change of heart for personal reasons, when I feel the time is right, I will say the real reason why I didn't go to the annual meeting, and yes, I did tell my supervisors that I was coming in to work that night). Both Erin and Randy (her boss) were disappointed when they found out that I chickened out, and now Randy is pretty angry that I refused to get the award (or whatever) earlier this morning, as I was studying my ass off to be prepared for my Humanities class and for my Quantitative Literacy class. Randy just said if and when I want the award, I can fetch it from Erin, which probably won't be today.

I should say that those two are probably pissed off at me for the whole thing as I speak. Well, if Erin never nominated me in the first place, and she should have asked me if it was alright (I would have said no anyway) for her to nominate me, then this entry would not have been created. But then again, I tend to raise hell, so it wouldn't have been in my best interest to go to the annual meeting anyway. Other than that, I passed my math test with an 81.5 (exact score), and I am hoping for more of the same from my Humanities test. I think I did alright with my Humanities test as it was a lot of "What was this?" and "What was that?"... and one essay that I think I messed up. Oh yeah, I have a quiz in math today, so wish me luck! :) People, you know what time this is. I have to get going now so that I can get to my studies. I will try to write again tomorrow. Laterz and peace!

Well, today's Judgment Day!

Hey hey readers!

How is everyone's day going for them? I hope that all is going well, as I have to find out TODAY whether or not I am going to work. Yep, I have to talk to Erin about that note I wrote to her on Monday and I know she will not be pleased. Bedsides, I have homework to finish and some studying to do on the contrary. Well, I am going to keep this one short and I will try to write again tomorrow if not Friday. Laterz and peace!

Another day, da da dee da...

Hey hey readers!

How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you lot, and I can honestly say this, as it is for me indeed. Well, I just got done with my test in Humanities today and I think that I did pretty well on the test, I might be getting an A on the test, because for one, I am wearing my lucky jersey today; two, it was a lot of terms and one essay; and three, it was fairly easy! :) Found out that Fuji (Jennifer's dog) is an Olde English Bulldog, and he is sooooooooooooooooooooo cute! :) Well, I have to get going now so that I can get to my math homework (it's more writing than you think!) and finish that on time. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Thursday. Laterz and peace!

Another day, another entry

Hey hey readers!

There are some updates for you to hear about. First, I am NOT going to the benefit on Wednesday, but for personal reasons that I can't explain. I am hoping that Erin will understand my final decision not to go to the damn benefit for that reason. I will be at work that night, however. Saturday night was the worst. Why would I say something like that? Let's just say that things that I shouldn't have been involved with I was involved with, but I had a minor role in it. I was in major trouble then and if and when Erin finds out, I'll be in more trouble when she next talks to me. But oh well, I am human and I make mistakes. As for anything else, I am doing okay. Nothing major coming up, so that's okay... oh wait, I have to start typing up my outline for my research paper. It's due in 10 days, and I have to do more research on the churches like NOW so that I can get my paper in the working. Oh yeah, Abe and I went to see "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" in the theater this past Saturday. Now THAT was a good film. Well, I have to get going now so that I can get to the outline on my paper. I will try to write again tomorrow, if not Wednesday. Laterz and peace!

A short entry but sweet one

Hey hey readers!

First of all, I survived my math test and hopefully I passed it. I have another test on Tuesday in my Humanities class. Second, I am seeing a movie with Abe, my favorite housemate, tomorrow, and hopefully we'll see "Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence" at the Landmark Theater in Chicago because I LOVE Japanese Anime (or Japaname for short). Well, I have to get going now so that I can get home to see ERIN! I will try to write again on Sunday if not Monday or Tuesday. Laterz and peace!

I'm hungry!!!!!!!!!!

Hey hey readers!

How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well for you lot... as I just failed (I think) my math test today and I'm about to fail my Humanities test on Tuesday! And what do I have to say about this? I'm soooooooooooooooo fucking hungry!!!!!!!!!! In fact I haven't ate a damn thing since this morning and I know I should have asked Erin for some lunch money this morning but that would have gone down the drain anyway it would have. But other than that, I am doing okay, taking part in my Humanities class and whatnot. I have to e-mail my girl Nicole Williams like now so that she won't be pissed. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Saturday or Sunday. Laterz and peace!

Updates for three days after 9/11

Hello readers!

I hope that everyone is having a fabulous day as I am having one too. I saw Erin this morning for the first time this week as yesterday she was sick! Boo hoo moment there if you ask me. But other than that, I am doing good, paying attention in both my Humanities and my Quantitative Literacy class. And I am smelling some LOVE while I am typing this one out! Work is work is work, working too damn hard and whatnot. Turns out that Jennifer (my best friend) got my card in the mail in time (thank goodness for that) and she said that I was sooooo sweet (thank you Jen for the good word). :) Well, I have to get going now so that I can get something to eat and get to work on time. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Thursday. Laterz and peace!

Research paper, the Cubbies, and other updates

Hey hey readers!

I am hoping that all is going well for you as it is for me indeed. First off is the Cubs, or the Cubbies as I faithfully call it. They are on a roll as they won two in a row. Yesterday's score was 5-2. They split the double header on Friday, losing 7-0 in the first game and winning 11-2 in the second game. As for my research paper, I am making progress as I got myself halfway done with my outline as of right now. I am handwriting my buildings down now so that I can type it up around the 29th of this month. And the other update that I want to bring to your attention is Erin. I may or may not said this already, but Erin was the "bright" one that nominated me for member of the year at WilPower, and got her way when she told me that I was going to be honored at their benefit on the 22nd of this month. I am still in disbelief because I don't think it's true at all. Well, readers, you know what time this is. I have to get going now so that I can focus on my research paper. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Tuesday for sure. Laterz and peace!

Updates for Saturday

Hello readers!

I am the Skokie Public Library with Abe. We are now doing research on prepaid cellular phones. Other than that I am doing okay with my life. I have to do homework later on tonight so that I will be caught up with things. I will keep this one short so that I can get to my monthly e-mail to my e-mail list. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Monday. Laterz and peace!

Update central!

Hello readers!

I hope that all is having a good day as I am having. Saw Erin like a few times, briefly each time. As for school, I just found out my research paper for Humanities class is going to be on four buildings in the Chicago area and it's due in November! Math class is Math class and it's tiring as hell. Work is the same thing going as Math. I am going to keep this short so that I can get to my studies. I will try to write again tomorrow. Laterz and peace!

M.J., where are you?!?

Hello readers!

I hope everyone is having a fabulous day although I am tired as hell. No M.J., DAMN IT! But the good thing that came out of today was that I got the black backpack from April at last. I was on fire in terms of my Humanities class, and that was a good thing, as I read my assignment and was answering questions left and right. I am going to keep this entry short for today, as I have to get to my reading for my Humanities class. I promise that I will write a longer entry tomorrow before class. Laterz and peace!

Today's updates

Hey hey readers!

Damn, I am sooooooooooooooooo tired today it's not funny anymore. Got up twice this morning for no good reason. Damn it, I need some caffeine to wake up and be alert. But other than that, I am doing okay, with what happened yesterday night will get to Erin and them and what happened last night I will not say but Rob needs to stop taking advantage of people on the real. I do hope that Jennifer gets her birthday card in the mail by her birthday or otherwise I will NOT be a happy camper. Since I last wrote to you lot, I have been a busy girl and that, my friend, is NOT good, it makes me more exhausted than ever. But whatever the case, I have to get going now so that I can get to my reading. I will try to write again tomorrow. Laterz and peace!

I hope that you lot understand that I'm tired when I was doing this entry

Hey readers!

Today is Thursday and I hope that everyone is having a fabulous day even though I am tired as hell. I had me a pretty good and lengthy conversation with Miss Erin (I call her Smiley) as of yesterday. As for anything else that is related to that, she asked me a shitload of questions relating to the fact that my shopping spree could've been better and quite possibly I should not have bought that jersey. But lucky for me, Miss Erin didn't look at the reciepts that closely, so it looks like I am off the hook. For now, anyway. Work has been nothing but tiring as of late, and it looks like there is a new supervisor at Small Sort. It's a girl that I've seen doing Revenue Recovery and she seems really cool. As for today, I should be having fun with my classes as I have to do a lot of reading and remembering... lol. Well, peoples, you know what time it is. I have to get going now so that I can get to my studies. I will try to write again tomorrow if not on Sunday. Laterz and peace!

Wednesday updates

Hey hey readers!

This entry won't be as long as it normally would be, but as I am wearing my jersey, I should be alright. Then again, I got my four hours last night and I have my classes tomorrow so that should be fun to see how that goes down. I also have a quiz tomorrow in my math class so that should be interesting to see how that is played out to tell you the truth. I finally saw ERIN yesterday and she was said, and was, in a good mood. She was all about my new threads (as in my new clothes) and my damn mail. She didn't ask me about the jersey or why I bought it as of yet, but you never know when she'll ask me about it. Well, I have to get going now so that I can read and study my butt off. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Friday. Laterz and peace!

Tuesday updates

Hey readers!

How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you as it is for me. I just found out in my math class that I have my first quiz for the term on Thursday, and more reading for me to do in my Humanities class, ha ha ha. That is all of the updates that I can report from Oakton. As for other updates, Erin's probably mad at me for today AND yesterday, plus on top of that, I was nearly late to class! Why, you ask? The 208 broke down in Niles at the Golf Mill Shopping Center, and I was given a transfer to get on another bus that takes me to Oakton (the 220 came around 15 minutes later), thank goodness for that! Lucky for me, I was somewhat prepared for my Humanities class and I was given a lot of notes in terms of terminology and whatnot. But whatever the case, I am still in one piece. Well, you guys know what time this is. I have to get going now so that I can get to work on time. I will try to write again tomorrow. Laterz and peace!

I'm tired, Erin's probably pissed, and you know the rest

Hello readers...

I hope that everyone is having a good morning so far although that can't be said about me. Why you ask? I left like 8:30 in the morning so that I can get started on my Humanities assignment. Too bad, it's due tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. And Erin is probably screaming "WHERE'S VIRGINIA?!?" right now because I left a note on her door and she probably wants to talk to me today about my clothes shopping spree. She won't be pleased when she finds out that one, I bought the soccer jersey; two, I got myself a DVD for like ten dollars, and three, I didn't get enough stuff (in terms of jeans). I wonder if that'll affect the spending money that I get every week or not. But oh well, that is what I get for doing things on my own. Last night my housemate Rob took me to his old house where it is now in a pile as it was torn down. Not a good thing to see. Well, I have to get going now so that I can get to my assignment for Humanities. I will try to write again tomorrow. Laterz and peace!

Sunday updates

Hey readers!

How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you lot as it is for me. I have me some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that I think that Erin will probably be pissed off when she finds our that I bought the Ireland soccer jersey and that I also bought a DVD. NOT a very smart move by me but hey, I have what I want and that is that. The good news is that I did my shopping, and that I managed to get around 4 new pairs of jeans for under $100. That, 5 t-shirts, and 6 pairs of underwear. That didn't cost me much but the jersey (which I am wearing now) set me back a good $80. I still have the receipt for the game that I will buy for Abe for Christmas, and that is a good thing. But other than that, I am still studying for my Humanities class and whatnot. Well, readers, you know what time this is. I have to get going now so that I can get to my studies. I will try to write again tomorrow if not Tuesday. Laterz and peace!

Surviving my first week at school and other updates

Hey hey readers!

How is everyone doing on the last Friday of the month? I hope that all is going well with you lot although it isn't the same thing for me. Yesterday during Humanities class, my professor gave the class a surprise pop quiz that I wasn't ready for, and yes, I failed it like hell on earth, plus she piled on the homework for the class to do for the weekend. Now, as for my Math class, it's a little bit better. The teacher introduced us to the Math Computer lab in the class and that was fun even though I got lost in the mix of registering for this one lab program that the class had to do that day. So there you have it, I survived my first week back in school in over two years, yay for me. As for work, I am averaging 4 hours a day which leads to about 16 hours or so this week so far. But oh well, that is life there for you, you can't always get what you want when you want it. As for anything else, my "intern therapist" Nick is leaving the day program after today so that he can pursue other things, such as his Masters Degree (in what he never told me but I am not concerned about that) and another internship elsewhere in state. Oh yeah, Erin is coming back from the camping trip today but I hope that I don't see her today because if I do I'll get pissed off as I am supposed to be studying my butt off. Well, peoples, you know what time this is... I have to get going now, study the books and read the paper. I will write again Sunday. Laterz and peace!

Updates for Thursday

Hey readers!
Just wanted to say hello and what is going on with you as I am in school as I speak. Erin is on her mini-vacation as I say this and she won't be back in town until tomorrow, woo hoo for me! But other than that stuff, I saw my friend M.J. and she's doing good as far as I know. Today is my second day of classes and although I am tired, I am ready for my classes because I have to better my life and whatnot. Work was a drag last night but I got out early so I can watch me some television in the cafeteria. That was the only (and still is) good thing about my job: I can watch TV! The other good thing about Oakton: there is PEPSI VANILLA at the campus that I am going to (in Des Plaines)... :) Well, I have to get studying now so I have to get going now. I will write again tomorrow for sure (and I'll be sure that I'll tell you about the shopping trip either Sunday or Monday). Laterz and peace!

Good news for one and all

Hey hey readers!
I hope that everyone that reads this entry is having a fabulous day because I am having one as well. Why you ask? Because there are annoying people that I don't like that are gone camping as I speak from now until Friday, and that my friend, is a good thing, because it less for me to worry about. On top of that, I can focus on my classes at Oakton and scope out the cute guys at the same time. Well, I shouldn't try to scope out the cute guys all the time as I will not do as good in my classes as I would if I was too busy doing what I am supposed to do. But other than that, I am doing good. I pay attention in my classes and take down some serious notes in them so I don't slack off like I used to in my first go around at Oakton. And yesterday I arrived early to class so that I can find my courses and whatnot. In addition to that, I will be writing to the site less often, especially in December so that I can focus on my finals and papers on top of my job. Oh well, that's life there for you, when you have committed yourself to stuff, you have to stick by it or else you suffer the consequences and that, my friend, is NOT good. Work is going okay for me by the way, getting good pay and whatnot. Erin is Erin as usual, and she's one of the people that I have a love/hate relationship with, so right now I am feeling good about her going to camp so I don't have to tolerate her for awhile. You know what time it is now... I have to get going now so that I can complete my homework... I will try to write again tomorrow if not Friday. Laterz and peace!

School season is officially here and other updates

Hey readers!

How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you lot as it is for me. I was supposed to write to you yesterday but I got soooooooooooooo busy that I lost track of time and had to go to work. At least I saw Erin once this week, but I think that she'll be pissed off at me if she ever decides to e-mail me today as I left early today to get to class on time, or at least early. Why do I say that, you ask? I was supposed to give her my budget of my future clothes shopping on Saturday yesterday but the chick decided to leave early yesterday so it's not all my fault. And speaking of that, I think I'll need close to $500-$600 to spend on a new wardrobe. But oh well, that's life there for you. In other news, I am in school as I write this and I am soooooooooooooo happy, because I am working on me and that is that. I also packed up my lunch and dinner as after my last class ends, I will be going straight to work so Erin can't stop me! :) I did my investigation of the soccer jersey (that of the Irish national team) and it costs around the $80-$100 mark, so if in the event that I have more than $110 in my pocket (that excludes the $65 that I need this weekend), then I will get the jersey, but if not I can only pray that Abe gets it for me for Christmas or for my 23rd b-day. Well, you know what time it is. I have to get going now so that I can make it to class on time. I will try to write again tomorrow, if not Thursday for sure. Laterz and peace!

Update city!

Hey readers!

How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well for you as it is for me. Yesterday's news... as well as current news, I no longer have a guest book for this site but as my loyal readers, you can always comment on my entries. As the saying goes there is always a silver lining for every dark cloud (or something like that). Anyhoo, as of TODAY I now own the "Mortal Kombat:Annihilation" on DVD. Ain't that something or what? Oh yeah, I bought this one t-shirt at Old Navy which has my zodiac sign on the front and a description of my sign on the back. I am an Aquarius in case you're asking what it is.

But other than that, nothing is new with me other than the fact that I start Oakton (again) on Tuesday. And I HAVE TO TALK to Erin tomorrow about a lot of things, such as my housemate D.C., shopping, the soccer jersey, and other things as well. It will prove to be interesting as hell to see what the turnout will be at the conclusion of the conversation. Right now, I am on cloud nine because of what I have done in terms of progress with myself. I never thought that I'd make it this far but I did and I will keep on making it even further. Well, I have got to get going now. I have other things to get to today. I will try to write again tomorrow. Laterz and peace!

Cheers,

Four more days until I start school

Hi readers!
I hope that all is going well with you lot as it is for me. Next Friday will be my "therapist" Nick's last day at the program. BOO HOO! That is the moment I am having right now. I did get to talk to him for a good amount of time today, however, and that is always good on both his part and my part as well. But other than that, I am doing good right now; I am taking it easy at the moment. Haven't seen Erin for a good time in a while, but that is good, as much as I like her a my case worker, she can be ANNOYING to the last nerve! Don't ask me why I just said that, however, Erin and I are either have something in common or, as it normally turns out, we're two different people. The countdown to returning to school continues at four days and counting downwards (in that direction).
Anyhoo, work is a drag but I have a cool supervisor in Russ at the Primary, and man, am I one happy girl today! Why, you ask? The unloader I sort for, Mike Timko (or should I say Simko, as he's nothing but a sim), won't be around tonight as he is going to a "Weird Al" Yankovic concert tonight. But I still would get paid more than him anyway (mainly because I make more per hour than him), and that makes me happy! :) But other than all of that, I am pretty good in terms of my life, because I am not talking to my family (don't ask) as they may bring me down (again) to nothing. Well, I have to get going now so that I can get home to see Erin and company. I will write to all of you again on Sunday for sure. Laterz and peace!

Five days to school and counting

Hey hey readers!
I am here again with my latest entry for today. Since I last wrote, I am still tired as hell from work. I work like four hours a day or so. But oh well, such are the joys of life. As for today, it marks five more days until I start school and that, my friend, is a good thing. I see less of Erin! :) It's not that I don't like her as a case manager because I do like her ONLY in that fashion, but, however, she can get on my last nerve. I am also looking forward to my last vacation of the year in two months, because I get paid like BIG then... :) More research on the television for me will continue until the end of the year. That is when I will get me a new television for my room, as I have to get a replacement for the one I already have. I am looking for a 13" TV with VCR combo, and a color screen along with it too. I know that they don't cost that much but hey, I do have to look good and hard for a TV like the one I want. I get paid tomorrow so that means that I have to decide how I want my $25 for the week (plus $5 more for the Seroquel) to be spent, as my backpack plans are in the dust. Well, you know what time this is. I have to get going now so that I can get to work on time. I will write to you all again tomorrow. Laterz and peace!

The countdown continues

Hey hey readers!
How is everyone's day going for them so far? I hope that all is going well. I have six more days of freedom before I start college (again). To celebrate, I treated M.J. and Sara to lunch today at the Northfield Restaurant in Northfield, Illinois. The food was really good and the total was less than what I had in my pocket, thank goodness for that. I had a Grilled Chicken Ceasar Wrap with fries and a Root Beer Float, while Sara had a Monte Cristo with fries and a Sprite and M.J. had a Grilled Cheese sandwich with cole slaw and a Coke. The three of us enjoyed our meals and the waitress was really nice and she enjoyed our company, hee hee hee. I would bet anyone a friendly bet that Erin would probably ask me "Virginia, how was lunch?" I think that she would say either that exact line or something very close to it. As for work, it has been really weird because this one dude Art is BACK in the primary sort aisle and that can be really bad 'cause all he does is talk his ass off. Oh well, that's life there for you, you can't expect everything to go your way and stuff like that. Well, I have to get going now so that I can get on the bus to get home so that I can get to work eventually. I will try to write to you again tomorrow if not Friday. Laterz and peace!

Tuesday updates

Hey hey readers! What is going on with my loyal readers? I hope that all is going well with you as it is for me indeed. First of all, my case manager Erin is sooooooooooooo cool, because she wasn't the least upset when I told her today that I spent money on my books yesterday via check. But other than that, not much in my life today, and my work week so far is nothing but a drag. Just don't ask me why... the reason is what I will not state to you whatsoever. Anyhoo, I am sooooooooooooo looking forward to tomorrow, because I am treating my girls Sara and M.J. to lunch at the Northfield Restaurant most likely. Well, I have to get going now so that I can get to work on time. I will write to all again tomorrow. Laterz and peace! ~ Calisto Phoenix

Monday updates

Hey hey readers! How is everyone doing? I hope that all is going well for you lot as it is for me. I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that I had to pay up for the books at Oakton myself, damn it to all! The good part about that is that I get reimbursed for the books themselves, it's just a matter of time. One thing here is how Erin will react to that... go figure. The good news in general is that I don't have to pay up more tuition, because of the fact that I went to the payroll office and found out AFTER I made the second of three payments on my tuition. I'll get reimbursed on the tuition that I paid up to this point. The Olympics are such a drag to watch to tell you the truth. Well, I have to get going now so that I can get to work on time and whatnot. I will try to write tomorrow. If not that day then Wednesday definitely. Laterz and peace! ~ Calisto Phoenix

Updates for today

Hey hey readers! How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you lot as it is for me. As for today, all that I have to say is that I had a wonderful time at the SGI-USA YWD meeting here in Chicago (where I'm originally from), although it lasted from 9 in the morning to noon. I just came to the library in Evanston, IL from the Taco Bell just north of it. Well, I have to get going now sop taht I can get to the damn bathroom. I will write to you all again tomorrow. Laterz and peace! ~ Calisto Phoenix

Updates for today and the countdown until I start college

Hey hey readers!
How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you lot as it is for me. I have some exciting news for you and I sincerely hope that you like what I have to say today. First of all, I will get me a new TV, I am thinking of getting it in the December or January of 2005 time frame the latest. I am looking for a 13" TV/VCR combo television set... but at least I will be concetrating on my homework when I start college (again for the second time) in two weeks. I already have 32 credit hours, about 22-25 of them are transferrable, under my belt at Oakton CC in Des Plaines, IL. That's all on that subject. As for my weekly talk with Nick the intern, let's just say that the 27th of August is his last day at the program and I will sad to see him go (he has another internship near Northbrook) but hey, people move on to other things and he is no exception to the rule. I am ready to move on too, it'll be a matter of time before I leave the program for good as well. And Erin took two of my stamps, damn it! Now she owes me two stamps, like seriously, or at least I think she took them, I don't know who did take them, but whoever did owes me two stamps. As for work, I will get at least 20 hours in this week, to show up on next week's check. And I had better get my raise on this check or else I will get mad at someone! Well, I have to get going now so that I can continue on my research for a new TV and continue on my profile on www.espn.com. I will either write again tomorrow, Sunday, or both days. Laterz and peace!

Daily (well, not really) update

Hey hey readers! How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you lot as it is for me. Saw Erin briefly (thank goodness for that, I have a love/hate relationship with her right now) and found out yesterday that Jevon (pronounciation rhymes with Kevin) is moving in to my lovely house and things should look brighter for me and the whole household. But other than that, I am in current research of a new TV, and I'm looking for a 13" color TV set with a built-in VCR. Not much, eh? I have the money in the bank, but I'm willing to wait until around December to get the damn thing, or maybe earlier than that IF someone I know is willing to loan me a TV until I get a new one. And the last thing that I saw on the Cubs (at home)/Padres game, it was 2-0 Cubs at the top of the third inning having the bases loaded and one out. I hope that they are still winning that game, and I will say something if they lose today's game! Other than that, nothing is new with me, other than the fact that I should be getting my raise tomorrow. That and trusty Natasha telling me that Erin is going to camp in a couple of weeks, the same week that I start school. :) Well... that's about it from me to you for the time being. I will write to all of you again tomorrow sometime. Laterz and peace! ~ Calisto Phoenix

My (almost) daily update

Hey readers!
How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you lot although it's not quite the same for me. As I write this, I still have a broken television that I have to keep on switching the socket to different outputs in order for it to work. Does anyone that reads this know what to do in a case like this? E-mail me at vkrhunt@hotmail.com or nina_williams122@yahoo.com for suggestions of any kind, thank you very much. :) Anyhoo, I think that I may have to go for the supervisor's position at the beginning of next year so that I can work on moving out of the house by 2006, because I have had enough of living there in the first place. People using my soap (evidence: hairs that are NOT mine left on the soap), people putting my things (like my toothbrush) in other places, that sort of thing. I just wish it would stop completely so that I can live in a place where people won't take my stuff. It makes me feel unsafe at that damn place and I want things to change. But oh well, that's life there for you, when things don't go your way, you may have to do something about it. But other than that, I'm doing okay, I am hanging in there for a change. No contact with family since April and that is good for me because I need to get away from the family for a year or so before I add on that kind of pressure into my life. Work for me is kind of a drag lately because although I'm getting like 20+ hours a week, it's been really stressful and tiring for me. Well, enough on that and the entry for today. I will write again tomorrow. Laterz and peace!

Keeping my promise and other things

Hey hey readers!
How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you although it's not quite the same thing going for me. First of all, I NEVER got the call yesterday like the store Record Town said they would for the DVD "Kill Bill Vol. 2" coming out today (unless they decided to call me today), so that's a huge lie right there and a waste of $5, damn it! At least I still have the receipt for "Gran Turismo 4" for PS2, which is a Christmas present for my roommate Abe, and that my friends, is a relief because if I had lost it, then I'd be really pissed off right now. I still have three months to go before I get the damn game and that is a sign of good things to come. I'm already getting Abe GT3 for the same console, hee hee hee. I'm soooooooo annoyed right now 'cause ROB LOGAN was on my ass asking me if I was sending him an e-mail or not. Geez, can I get some ME time please??????? But the good thing to all of you loyal readers is that I kepy my promise when I said I was going to write to you next and all that lovely jazz. As for anything else, I just learned that my television broke (well, not really, because if I keep on switching the sockets, I still have my TV working, but I can't turn it on after I turn it off the first time I do that in one of the sockets, damn it!) and I did talk to Randy and Erin about it, now I just have to talk to my house manager Karl about it to see what I should do if he can't find a way to fix it. Well, that's about it from me to you for the time being. I will write to all of you again tomorrow. Laterz and peace!

Collateral, my company picnic, and other updates

Hey hey readers! How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you as it is for me. Yesterday, I went to the company picnic that UPS hosted at the Harms Woods, Grove 6. It was fun, the food was good, and I had me a good time, but it wasn't the same vibe that I got at the wedding I went to three weeks ago (my best friend Jennifer had gotten married), so it wasn't as good in terms of the food and whatnot. Oh well, that's life there for you. I got home at sometime before six in the evening and I even tried a taco that Leslie made herself. It was a lot better than I even ecpected. As for evening/late night plans, Leslie bought three tickets to see the movie "Collateral," with Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx as well as Jada Pinkett Smith. It was an okay movie, but it wasn't living up to the hype that I, or the other people that went with me, had hoped for (it was Leslie, my roommate Mike and myself that went to see the movie), becuase it wasn't all that great to begin with. As for today, I waan't up to much in terms of what to do before now, but at least I did my chore and whatnot. Well, I have to get going now so that I can get to other things. I will write to you again either tomorrow or Tuesday or both days. Laterz and peace! ~ Calisto Phoenix

Hello there and... well, you know the rest...

Hey hey readers!

How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you lot as it is for me indeed. First of all, I have all the text from all my other entries from the old blog to this one, and it's in reverse order, so that saves me a lot of typing by using the copy/paste method. :) And as for my day so far, I am one happy camper, and for more than just one reason. First, I saw my girl M.J.! The woman treated me to a Sinckers Almond Bar and a Vanilla Coke at around nine something along with a piece of bubble gum later on. My talk with Nick the Intern was cool as hell as well (any rhyming you lot see?), and I'm even more psyched for school (well, my return to Oakton Community College in Des Plaines, IL that is) because of that. :) My two morning groups were just FANTASTIC because for Pet Therapy, I played with doggies (Sasha the Shih Tzu was sooooo adorable! :D) Art Therapy was great as well, and that's all I'm saying. As for my plans for the afternoon, I will be seeing Erin today about the Kill Bill Vol. 2 DVD thing (I won't go any further because I don't want anyone finding out what I said to her) and school books. And I hate to say this to you guys, I have to get going now so that I can get to my research for school books and a backpack. I will write to the site again either tomorrow or Sunday or both days. Laterz and peace!

A day of B.S. and other updates...

Hello there readers! As this is my second entry, well, here goes... uh... just about everything! This morning was a drag. I didn't go to my day program because of the fact that it's an all-day activity and I'm not signed up for that (because of work and now school), so I lucked out of that and stayed the hell home. I saw my caseworker Erin today but very briefly, she took off at about 9:30 a.m. for the program while yours truly just sat on that ass watching television! I took off at about 11 something in the morning for the remainder of the day so that I can work on this entry! Tomorrow I am going to see "A Home At The End Of The World" with my hunk Colin Farrell (well, he's not mine but damn, he's sooooooooooooooooooo HOT!) AND I'm going with my friend Laura Phillips. She is soooooooooooooo rad and fun to hang around with because for one, she's around my age, two, she's the opposite of me, and three, she too has access to the Internet! Well, this isn't much longer than my last entry, but I do have to get going now so that I can get to other things in my life, such as more window shopping and eventually my PT job. I will post my third entry either tomorrow or Sunday for sure. Laterz and peace! Calisto Phoenix

Blah Blah Blah!

Hello there readers one and all! This marks my THIRD entry on this site already! I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that my friend Laura bailed out on the movie thing that I was supposed to do later on today this morning. BOO HOO to you Laura! Just kidding there, I'll have to figure something else out in terms of my free time. I know for a fact that I don't have much of it to spare. I have to treat my girl Sara to lunch on a Wednesday soon (as in a couple of weeks). However, the good news is that I am still seeing my movie with COLIN FARRELL in it and I got the latest issue of Black Belt magazine today, not to forget that I got on the computer EARLY today at the Evanston Public Library, woo hoo for me! :) My love life is the same old B.S. everyday but I'm not complaining about it either because I am sooooooooooooooooooooo happy that I am THAT single for the guys, wahey for me! :) Just to let everyone in on some info, I will post some pics from my picture CD, but that won't be for some time, because I have to figure out a good time to actually put them on the site in the first place. Oh yeah, my best friend Jennifer got married two weeks ago and I would like to wish her and her hubby Mike a lifetime of marital bliss. Those two really deserve it to the fullest. Well, I have to get going now so that I can make my movie on time. I will write again soon. Laterz and peace! Calisto Phoenix

Daily update...

Hallo hallo (is that Swedish? please note: sarcasm) readers! Well, today marks a day where I just don't give a (bleep)! Why, you ask? Never ask me or Virginia (the other half of me) this question, neither of us would know or give a damn. But to be on the bright side, here is the news in my world, nevertheless. First off, I am getting a new roommate. Don't know who yet, but I met one of the possibilities, Jevin, and he seems like a cool guy, easy to get along with in my book. My case worker Erin has to postpone our shopping trip for a while, which is both good and bad. The good part is that I can still wear my piece of sh*t clothes all that I want, while the bad part is that I HAVE to wear my piece of sh*t clothes that are falling apart, which kinda annoys me straight to hell, AND no bonding with Erin when I do go shopping with her (I did that with her last year and it was HILARIOUS). Crazy as it may seem, I look forward to getting some birthday presents for the people that mean the most to me in my life right now (like Erin, Jennifer, and Randy), because I get to spend me some MONEY! That's that with the good news and the bad news in my world. As for the Cubs, they won yesterday 6-3, but Greg Maddux did NOT win number 300. BOO HOO! I hate when history is denied, but at least he has another shot on that on Saturday on the road. And this time I hope that he gets it because he is a humble and great pitcher that baseball has ever seen in modern history. And can someone tell me whether or not the White Sox won yesterday's game, as I don't have a clue????? Well, I have to get going now as I have to get to work on time for a change. I will write again on Wednesday for sure. Laterz and peace! Calisto Phoenix

Sorry that I lied about not writing today...

Hey hey readers! How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you as it is for me! :) Well, I lied when I said I wasn't going to write today but I found the time to write today and well... here I am with my blog for today. Nothing new here for the day for yours truly so far but hey work last night was a major drag in more ways than one. Erin is Erin today, smiley and whatnot. I just have to get a price for the books that I have to buy for class on the ninth and then get the debit card to buy the books so I can be ready for class. That's my plan for this month other than getting the syllabi for the classes and making my second payment for the tuition bill that I have so that I can get reimbursed early next year. That and surviving work this week will be such a joy for me because I get all the messed up unloaders at work and now Niya is giving me a hand in helping me with getting a guestbook for the site! Thank you Niya! :) Well, I have to get going now so that I can catch my bus to get to work. I will write to you all again tomorrow. Laterz and peace! Calisto Phoenix

A day of madness and my daily update...

Hey hey readers! How is everyone doing on the fourth day in August? I hope everything is going well with you lot although it isn't the same thing for me. Last night, after work and after I had gotten off of the bus, I got really SOAKED like you wouldn't believe, because it was POURING outside like there was no tomorrow. But anyhoo, I allowed my friends M.J. and P-Wee (not mentioning their real names to protect their privacy) to see my photo album last night and earlier today (in opposite order of who got to see the photo album that I own), as I told them that they could see the photo album. I am one step closer to finishing this website with my guestbook thing from http://www.bravenet.com/, all I have to do is get the damn password from the bravenet.com website onto my e-mail and then I can work from there. Thank you Niya! As for work, it has been HELL the past two days because I have been working like a horse those two days and I show no signs of relaxing until at least Friday night. Now all I have to really do is talk to Erin about getting books for my classes at Oakton CC because it is something that I really need before school starts on the 24th (for me that is, the real start date for the students is the 23rd) of this month. What fun that should be for yours truly. Well, I hate to do this to the loyal readers, but I have to get going now, I have to complete this blog of mine as well as get home and then to work. I will write to you all again either tomorrow or Friday. Laterz and peace! Calisto Phoenix
Hey hey readers! How is everyone doing today? I hope that all is going well with you lot as it is for me. As for my daily update, well, here I go again! :) First of all, I didn't see Erin (my case worker) until like a couple of hours ago. Well... more like an hour ago. I am happy for my Cubbies, because we won last night 11-8, and, for right now, sole control of the Wild Card in the NL. Too bad the White Sox lost last night 11-0 to the Kansas City Royals, but I'm not rooting for the White Sox, it was just some piece of information that I would like to share to my loyal readers. As for anything else, the newsletter group was fun today and I informed my support group that in three weeks I start school (a return to Oakton Community College in Des Plaines, IL after two years of not being there) and I'm taking two classes for the time being. I'm going to see how this semester goes for me and if it all goes well, then I'll apply for that supervisor's position at work. I think I'll take the position anyway next year so that I can get the hell out the house that I live in. I won't say the exact reason why I just said that, but let's say that I only have one friend in that house and I can't get along with the other girl that lives on the same floor as me. That's all that I will say. Last night at work I was on Boxline 3 for a very good portion of the night and it wasn't fun at all. In fact, it SUCKED! Well, I have to get going now so that I can get to work on time. I will write to all of you again tomorrow. Laterz and peace! ~ Calisto Phoenix
